Sea Kayaking Inner Hebrides Improver

Some of the best Sea Kayaking in the World. Last year we had days with porpoises doing tail stands. Great rock scenery with numerous islands and excellent campsites. When the weather is settled we visit such wonderful places as Scarba, Jura, the Garvellachs. In more difficult conditions we have the Isle of Luing, Seil, Kerrera and Lismore.

This trip is aimed at those who have done some kayaking before and there will be opportunities to play in tide races or you can enjoy your lunch on the shore while others play. There are so many options that it would be pointless writing an itinerary as this depends on the weather and on the group. This trip will involve camping for several nights. We dont cover huge distances instead aiming to explore the environment we are passing through.  When your not camping there are lots of great places to stay in the area and some excellent pubs and restaurants.

A typical itinerary is 

Meet Mon 9.30am Sea Kayak Oban  Chat about expectations and look at possibilities & plan the day trip. Try out a few different sea kayaks, while out for the day

Tuesday  Another day trip exploring a different island then plan the next few days.

Wed, Thursday out camping from our Sea Kayaks, returning Friday afternoon.

Nb usually you supply your own camping equipment & cook over a camp stove. We do have a limited supply of gear especially for those people who have had to fly to Scotland & so are unable to take camping stoves on the plane.
