The Island of Coll, Gunna & Tiree lie to the North West Of the Island of Mull and have a much drier & sunnier micro climate. It is known as a meeting spot for the docile Basking sharks which grow up to 10 metres long as well as numerous seals, Ottters & diverse bird life. The islands of Coll and Gunna alternate rocky headlands with numeous sandy beaches & great wild camping.
The ferry times dictate the exact timing of the trip it can 4-5 days long.

This trip is aimed at people who are very comfortable in a sea kayak and have at least a weeks worth of previous sea kayaking experience and are happy in force 3 plus winds. The aim is to do lots of exploring on both the sea and the land and make the most of being in this wonderful place.
Yes we may well visit Tiree as well, but though very pretty the coastline isnt as interesting as Coll and Gunna.
